Timber for Boardwalks
Many new housing estates are designed around smaller, more ecologically friendly blocks with large, open community recreational spaces, generally focusing on a lake or waterway. A major feature of these estates is the associated infrastructure, including boardwalks, shelters and playgrounds.
ATW has supplied timber and piles in many housing estates throughout Victoria including Hawkstowe estate in Mernda and Seagrove Estate in Cowes.
There is an increasing number of beach access boardwalks, shared bike and walking paths with elevated boardwalks and viewing platforms being designed and constructed throughout Victoria. ATW has supplied timber and piles to many of these installations, including the Two Towns Trail between Warragul and Drouin, and the Perce White Reserve beach access in Port Melbourne which was part of the Port of Melbourne Expansion Program.
ATW can provide H3 and H4 ACQ, H3-H6 CCA and PEC-treated timber and poles for all types of boardwalk construction projects.
