Australian Timber Wholesalers provides an extensive range of associated hardware products, such as coach bolts, nuts and washers, coach screws, bugle batten screws, spikes and nails. Stainless steel fixings should be used with ACQ treated timber and either stainless steel or galvanized fixings can be used with CCA treated timbers.

Bugle Batten Screws

• Self-drilling screws, available in galvanized and stainless steel – 12 or 14 gauge diameters – in lengths of 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm and 150mm. Bugle batten screws are commonly used to fix decking boards to joists.

Coach Bolts

• also referred to as carriage or cup head bolts, available galvanized or in stainless steel and in diameters from 6mm to 30mm and lengths from 19mm to 600mm. The underside of the head is specially designed to embed itself into timber and enable the nut to be tightened using only one tool, and for where there is limited access to the head end of the bolt. Washers are available in various types including round with round hole, round with square hole, square with round hole and square with square hole.

Coach Screws

• also known as lag screws, available galvanized or in stainless steel. They are used when there is a preference for the fastener to be seen from one side only or where access to only one side of the timber is available.
